The term rope sandals, which is circulating on all social networks and on Google, became popular after the creation of our brand in 1999 and its dazzling success which inspired famous brands to create their own models of rope sandals.

JC Vegan Sandals - Woodstock: All our rope sandals are handmade and sustainably produced in our fair trade factories in Nicaragua.
They are made from polypropylene ropes (recycled plastic), which gives them greater resistance to wear, as well as better comfort for your feet compared to a traditional rope.

The special feature of the JCs is the numerous cords that are used to hold the instep.
The JC sandals are the first model created by the Nomadic State of Mind brand 26 years ago.

We believe our vegan sandals generally run a half size up, or in some cases for people with very narrow feet, a full size up if they want to wear very fitted sandals.

Some tips for choosing the right size:

Our sandals are generally a half size larger.
- If you are between two sizes, for example between 38 and 39, and you have a narrow foot, we advise you to take a 38.
- If you are a size small, that you are between two sizes, for example between 38 and 39, and that you have a narrow foot, we advise you to take a 38. At the limit, we advise you to take a 38.
- Also, if you are a true 39 and have strong feet, we recommend a 39.
- If you are a size 39.5, we recommend a size 39.
