The term rope sandals, which is circulating on all social networks and on Google, became popular after the creation of our brand in 1999 and its dazzling success which inspired famous brands to create their own models of rope sandals.

Romano Vegan Sandals Sage Green Dark: All our rope sandals are handmade and sourced from eco-responsible production in our fair trade factories in Nicaragua.

They are made from polypropylene ropes (recycled plastic), which gives them greater resistance to wear, as well as better comfort for your feet compared to a traditional rope.

The particularity of the ROMANO is its fastening with the high laces around the calves (Spartan sandals).

We believe our sandals generally run a half size larger, or in some cases a full size larger for those with very narrow feet.

-For example, if you are between two sizes in most brands, between 38 and 39, and you have a narrow foot, we advise you to take a 38.

- If you are a true 39 and have strong feet, we recommend a 39.

- If you are a size 39.5, we recommend a size 39.

Note : To measure your foot correctly: You need to take an A4 sheet, a ruler and a pen.

With the ruler you draw a line on the sheet, then you place your foot on this line, you raise yourself slightly in order to put weight on your foot, then using the pen you make a mark on the line at the level of the longest toe, then a mark closest to your heel. After having made the two markings take the ruler and measure the distance in centimeters between the two points. Then you compare these centimeters with the size guide which is on our site, which size corresponds to you.
